 I'm going to talk you about my experience here in cambridge and I'll give you some tips.
 1.- I think what you should do first when you arrive in Cambrigde is to rent a bike in station cycles , so you can ride it through all the city and know some places.Station cycles is the best place to rent because the bicycles you can rent are very good bikes.Also if you stay here a long time you can buy one for 130 pounds and when you leave you can sell it to them in half of the price or a little more.

 2.- Then if you want to buy something and you find that they are very expensive you can go to the Graffton shopping mall to a shop named Poundland were all is 1 pound , its like a supermarket and it sells all kinds of stuff.

3.- If you want to take some good pictures to the colleges you can go punting and Scudamores is your best choice, you'll see a lot of interesting things like the King's College the Mathematical Bridge and others.

4.- And also if you want to travel to other places of Europe I recomend you to see packages in expedia.com and also if you want to know what you can do there you must check tripadvisor.com.
